When I first reconnected with Ro Gupta, co-founder of CARMERA, over two years ago, we quickly took a stroll down memory lane on what it was like to be part of the movement to democratize publishing. I had worked at Automattic (WordPress), and Ro had been at Disqus.

When I asked Ro what he was now working on, it clicked right away, he wanted to democratize autonomous vehicle data. Essentially, do for streets what Googlebot did for the web.

Resolute was proud to lead the seed round, and today the company is officially launching and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress they’ve made, and the great new partner, Matrix, who is now on board.
